6-month private equity internship (m/f/d)

As part of our investment team, you will be closely involved in our day-to-day activities over a period of six months. Thanks to the longer duration, you will have the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of the role and gradually delve deeper into analysis, due diligence, as well as investment, portfolio and internal matters. You will follow the entire investment process – from identifying attractive targets to implementing value-enhancement measures – and experience projects across multiple phases.

Your internship with us:

• In-depth involvement in day-to-day investment work over an extended period
• Flat hierarchies and close collaboration with the investment team
• Comprehensive insights across the entire investment cycle and into portfolio management

Your areas of responsibility:

• Preparation of financial, market and sector analyses
• Independent handling of sub-projects within the context of due diligence and transactions
• Active involvement in strategic and operational matters within our portfolio companies
• Close involvement in investment controlling and reporting
• Active support in expanding deal flow and acquisition channels

Your skills:

• Above-average academic performance
• Degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering; alternatively, a background in the natural sciences with knowledge of accounting, controlling and finance
• Strong analytical skills and a keen aptitude for numbers
• Proactive approach, structured working style and a strong willingness to learn
• Strong interest in financial markets and business issues
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Good written and spoken English
