SHS sells shareholding in Emerging Implant Technologies GmbH to Johnson & Johnson Medical GmbH 

SHS Gesellschaft fuer Beteiligungsmanagement, MBG Baden-Württemberg and VC Fonds BW announced that Emerging Implant Technologies GmbH (EIT), a manufacturer of 3D-printed titanium interbody implants for spinal fusion surgery, has been acquired by Johnson & Johnson Medical GmbH. SHS became EIT’s lead investor in September 2016. Since then the Tuebingen based medtech specialist has subsequently supported the company’s growth strategy. The financial terms of the deal are undisclosed.
