Hubertus Leonhardt

Senior Partner

After a total of 27 years on the management board, Hubertus transitioned to the supervisory board and currently supports the company as a Senior Partner. He played a key role in building and positioning SHS as a leading healthcare industry investor and was responsible for the finance division.

He is an experienced investment professional with a strong focus on the financial and operational performance of our investments. As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and certified tax advisor, he sharpened his business acumen as a Corporate Finance Manager at Arthur Andersen before joining SHS in 1997. He has extensive experience as an advisory board member for MedTech companies and has structured a number of transactions in which SHS, as lead investor, supported companies in their growth phase and achieved successful exits, either through trade sales or IPOs.

In addition, Hubertus is actively involved on a voluntary basis as a member of the examination committee for certified balance sheet accountants and as a lecturer in adult education in the field of finance.

In his free time, Hubertus loves jogging through the Schönbuch forest and has a passion for two- and four-wheeled mobility. He has also probably skied down every slope in Europe.
