After having received his dual degree in Business Administration and Law at the University of Innsbruck, Tobias initially started his career at Roland Berger in their Performance Improvement and Corporate Finance practice, where he had his first touchpoints with Private Equity and worked on a number of M&A cases. After a stint in Investment Banking at the Leveraged Finance team of IKB Bank in Frankfurt, financing mid-cap PE deals, he switched to the Private Equity side as a member of the PE Investment team of BlackRock based in Zurich. Most recently, Tobias was with DI Capital Solutions, a small-cap PE investor with a flexible investment mandate and a focus on value creation, where he also sat on the board of several of their portfolio companies.

In his spare time, Tobias enjoys spending time with his children and being active in the mountains; true to his Austrian roots, he is a keen skier and snowboarder. When time allows, he also enjoys reading and has an impressive collection of comics (and yes, comics are a form of art too).
